Thank you Message to those who attended Mabior Dau's family event

Please accept our humble thanks for an excellent turnout at our family event this last weekend. Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to come to support us. You left your work, canceled other important events you were engaged in, and made our family event a priority. Some of you drove for 14hrs, others flew for 6hrs as far as New York and Florida, while others flew for 4 or 3hrs from the many states of the Midwest. You made the most excruciating financial sacrifices at this very difficult time without hesitation for the love of one another. You came to share your thoughts and prayers with us to encourage us, particularly Rev. Mary Achol Bol Arok, for taking such a bold move into those professions (Nursing and Pastorship). Thank you so much for your very generous gifts and for thinking of us. We’re so grateful to have you. A simple thank you note is not enough to offset all the work you have done for us, but we’re still sending it to you to express our heartfelt gratitude. With all that said, we are asking you to please accept our warm thankful wishes for attending Mama Deng’s graduation ceremony and for making her graduation day a special and memorable one. Thank you for the gifts of love, nurturing support, and encouraging words! Your thoughtfulness is a gift we will forever treasure!

Friends, family, community members, and neighbors, Jieng community of Washington, we’re proud of you and forever appreciate your support. TECA-USA leadership, and Nyuak Community USA leadership, thank you for the recognition. It is with great appreciation and respect to you all that we say thanks to the most compassionate people we know, TECA-USA officials. It is also hard to find the words to express the extent and the range of all the work you have done. Simply put, you’re the beacon of hope and the light to our community. Your profound contribution is believed to be the ultimate worthwhile gift you brought to us in form of a ceremony. We were appreciated and considered for the work we have done on this very day. What an honor had brought in a golden plate! Above all, we were the band of brothers and sisters who championed the greatest work ever done in any community in the United States. You made this occasion special. We couldn’t have done it without your support. Given the caring support you provided, you engaged in a respectable campaign to foster the ceremony with a humble heart and well wishes. Thank you, TECA-USA-TEAM!

To those friends and relatives who did not make it to the graduation ceremony due to the loss of family members, Elijah Garang Chol Bull, and much other sad news this last week. We are with you in spirit, and we hope the good God had and will continue to comfort you at your toughest time. We were/are also still with you as you grieved for your loved ones.

For those who didn’t make it and acknowledging the event by calling and letting us know that they weren’t coming due to the circumstance life threw at us, we understand, and we appreciate you for your commitment. You were with us in spirit and your message is/was well received. On Saturday, September 10/2022, at 9:00 pm EST. Mane Deng Mabior, Rev. Mary Achol Bol Arok aka Mary Bol, CM Atem Bol Mabior and I will host a show for thanksgiving, to acknowledge our relative friends, guests, and community members who took time out of their busy schedules to come to support us!
